Velera Soda is a custom brand project I did in which I created a sugar free soda brand that focuses on fruity flavours and a burst of energy.

"Fruity burst, for thirst." The name Velera (derived from "Valera" which is Latin) means to be "strong" or "healthy." Even though it is a basic soda brand, I wanted to create one that is sugar free and isn't super unhealthy. A soda brand that is made for everyone who aren't keen to super high sugars or calories.

Ideation and Concept

Before starting my design I went on pinterest and looked at other soda brands that use vibrant like colors, one big inspiration I took from this was the brand Poppi.

I then moved onto making 3 sketches of concept designs with different placements of each pattern. After that it was time to draw and create the fruits and experiment with different sets of colors. Primarily colors that suit the flavour (Ex. Watermelon being green)

After that, I then created a basic mockup as well as different advertisements for the brand. You can see the process below.
